Experience the NYCP Chamber Music Series featuring two significant string quartets. NYCP performs Benjamin Britten's String Quartet No. 1, written during Britten's time in New York at the beginning of World War II. This performance is paired with recitations of poetry and correspondence, followed by a moving rendition of Dmitri Shostakovich's tragic war memorial, String Quartet No. 8. Join us at Fort Lee Music Hall as we co-present this powerful, emotionally charged program.
