This program presents three emotionally charged works, each exploring different facets of the Romantic era. Schumann’s Adagio and Allegro for cello and piano opens the concert with a poignant blend of introspection and passion. Chopin’s Piano Trio in G minor, Op. 8 follows, highlighting his signature lyricism and dramatic contrasts. The evening concludes with Brahms’ Horn Trio in E-flat major, Op. 40, a stirring combination of horn, violin, and piano, showcasing the depth and richness of its unique instrumentation.
