Presenting a dynamic program that commences with a pioneering American composer William Grant Still's Mother and Child, a piece of rich and elegant depiction of motherhood. The spotlight shines on two living American composers: Seth Grosshandler's Concertino for Cello, featuring the accomplished cellist Madeline Fayette, and Eric Nathan's Double Concerto for Two Violas by esteemed violists Misha Amory and Hsin-Yun Huang as soloists.
