Copland & Haydn (May 6-9)

Copland & Haydn: A Journey to Light

NYCP closes its 2026–27 season with a program of stillness, fire, and renewal. Copland’s Quiet City opens with quiet urban longing, followed by the world premiere of Jeremy Gill’s 11 Fantasies on a Phrygian Chorale. Boccherini’s La casa del diavolo brings theatrical intensity before cellist Zlatomir Fung takes center stage in his own new work, Nocturne and Haydn’s Cello Concerto No. 1, bringing the season to a luminous close.
